Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, basic accounting skills, organizational abilities, and a flexible, can-do attitude. The ideal candidate is also comfortable interacting with children in a professional and friendly manner.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support including document preparation, data entry, and calendar management
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for various tasks
Perform light accounting duties such as accounts receivables
Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems
Run errands as needed (e.g., office supplies, mail, local pickups)
Assist with occasional childcare-related tasks or supervision during office hours
Communicate effectively with staff and clients
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor—especially around children
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus)
Preferred Skills
Experience in a family-run business environment
Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
