This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to handling administrative duties in a fast-paced legal environment. Work Environment: This is a fully remote position requiring consistent availability during standard business hours. Responsibilities: • Serve as the first point of contact for clients by managing incoming calls, voicemails, and general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner • Perform receptionist duties, including call routing, message taking, and maintaining communication logs • Conduct timely client callbacks and follow-ups as directed by attorneys or staff • Draft and send referral emails to clients, partners, and external contacts with accuracy and professionalism • Manage email correspondence, including organizing inboxes and prioritizing urgent matters • Assist with scheduling appointments, consultations, and meetings across multiple calendars • Maintain and update client records and case-related information in internal systems • Handle document preparation, formatting, and basic proofreading • Support attorneys and staff with small-scale projects (“mini projects”), such as research tasks, file organization, data entry, and process tracking • Uphold confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards Qualifications: • Previous experience in an administrative, virtual assistant, or legal support role preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • High attention to detail and organizational skills • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace Compensation: $1,500 per month
