Job Description: SOAZ - Req # 8169 – AZDES – DBME is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. This role is primarily onsite with potential hybrid work after training. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, front desk/scheduling experience, and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative assistant duties including managing correspondence, records, and internal communications.
Operate switchboard to answer, direct, and transfer incoming calls, manage visitor check-ins, and provide general customer service.
Handle emergency calls, monitor alarms, manage paging systems, sort mail, and provide basic support as needed.
Locate specialized doctors for claimants to complete exams requested by Disability Evaluators. Schedule consultative examinations (CE), follow up with claimants, and prepare CE packets for mailing or fax.
Respond to inquiries from claimants, vendors, and other sources regarding claim status or transportation assistance.
Contact claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and hospitals to coordinate information and reports.
Ensure daily assignments are completed using tracking systems and conduct case development activities requiring analysis and judgment.
Required Skills:

Proficient with computer applications
