Assistant Director & Marketing Coordinator Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (Split between both schools) The Goddard School at Ballantyne, Charlotte, NC 28277 and The Goddard School at Waxhaw, Waxhaw, NC 28173
The Goddard School® of Ballantyne is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Assistant Director and Marketing Coordinator who will support both of our school’s locations in Waxhaw and Ballantyne. The ideal candidate for this position will support the Waxhaw location during the morning hours by conducting duties associated with an Assistant Director and supporting the Center Director, while also supporting our marketing and social media efforts during the afternoon at our Ballantyne location. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, a strong communicator, and creative with digital content.

Responsibilities include:
Greet families and provide excellent customer service
Answer phones, communicate with current and potential families, and schedule tours of the school
Support school leadership with administrative tasks, scheduling, and record-keeping
Adhere to State and Goddard standards regarding licensing
Manage and post engaging content across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Assist with school marketing initiatives, community events, and promotional activities
Ensure communication with families is professional, warm, and timely
Maintain confidentiality and uphold The Goddard School’s standards of quality
Ability to work a 9:00 am - 6:00 pm shift while traveling between both schools. Report to the Waxhaw location from 9:00am-1:00pm and to the Ballantyne location from 2:15pm-6:00pm
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Marketing, or a related field, preferred
Administrative experience in an Early Childhood Center, preferred
Social Media Management/Marketing experience, preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with technology
A friendly, professional, and approachable personality
