    We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support DHS USCIS operations. In this role, you will provide administrative, program, and operational support to ensure efficient office functions and mission success.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide general administrative support, including document management, filing, and recordkeeping
    • Answer phones, manage email inboxes, and route communications appropriately
    • Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and prepare daily briefings
    • Assist with travel coordination and documentation (Concur support)
    • Manage incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and office supplies
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for government review
    • Coordinate conference rooms, meetings, and event logistics
    • Track projects, training requirements, and program metrics
    • Support office operations, including equipment tracking and maintenance
    • Assist with program support activities, including data tracking and reporting
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid state-issued driver’s license
    • Strong administrative and organizational experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Experience managing files, calendars, and office communications
    • Professional communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
    • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
    • Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation and clearance approval

    Preferred

    • Experience supporting federal or government offices
    • Familiarity with Concur or travel coordination systems
    • Experience with document editing, reporting, or program tracking
    • Exposure to data tracking systems or program support tasks

    Security Clearance Requirement

    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
    • Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation and clearance approval
