Administrative Assistant (Philippines)
Job Description
The Administrative Assistant assists with all components of the administration and management of the medical practice to ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. They perform front-office duties and help manage daily workflow in the healthcare facility.
Assist leadership with clinical governance and credentialing.
Schedule, walk-in services, patient registration, and tracking of all appointments at the designated location, as well as external appointments and hospitalizations.
Provide reception services and management of waiting areas while maintaining cultural sensitivity and confidentiality.
Help monitor quality management processes to ensure adherence to standards of care.
Ensure billing and invoice management for services rendered to patients referred from external sources.
Provide receipt, disposition, and response to telephone, email, and mail inquiries.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports tracking patient services, referrals, hospitalizations, dispositions, and census.
Coordinate and arrange transportation services for patients as needed.
Assist with human resources management, including sourcing, vetting, and credentialing of personnel as required.
Assist with logistics management related to pharmaceuticals, cold-chain supplies, expendable medical supplies, consumables, durable medical equipment, medical gases, supplies, and furniture.
Implement and maintain medical information technology systems, including electronic health records.
Coordinate medical laundry, collection, sorting, drop-off, and pick-up at designated service points.
Coordinate housekeeping and biohazard cleanup within clinical areas, including blood, body fluid, and potentially infectious material.
Assist with biomedical equipment management to ensure functionality and safety.
Provide or coordinate housekeeping services for non-clinical areas covered by this subcontract.
Ensure establishment of a feedback loop for monitoring customer satisfaction identifying areas for improvement.
Participate in mass-casualty drills as required and remain available for on-call coverage.
Ensure staff obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) and base-access clearances, observe cultural-sensitivity training and other required trainings.
Complete required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
