    Job Description

    The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Director, Production Development for Universal Pictures. This position requires managing day-to-day administrative functions and support, and secondarily, to support the executive by reading and providing opinions on materials. Ideal candidates should be acutely detail oriented, have a passion for films, screenplays and books, and possess an expansive worldview.

    Responsibilities:

    • Schedule meeting requests and manage calendar
    • Track and keep updated records of incoming submissions, project drafts, samples, and production materials
    • Roll calls and manage a record of incoming and outgoing calls and all office correspondence
    • Process expense reports in a timely manner
    • Arrange travel, schedule, and all accommodations for the executive for film festivals, premieres, and more
    • Act as a liaison for the executive with all internal and external offices
    • Manage and draft lists of filmmakers, writers, and talent for current projects
    • Read and provide opinions on incoming materials
    • Provide general support for other administrative duties and execute professional and personal needs as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience working in an administrative capacity for a production company, agency, management company, or studio
    • Previous experience with development as well as familiarity with major film agents, agencies, writers, and directors

    Desired Qualifications

    • An excellent project manager and task manager; Highly organized, ability to home in on the details and juggle multiple projects and tasks at once
    • Excellent communicator with strong writing and verbal skills

    Additional Requirements:

    • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

    Salary range: $45,000-$57,500; not bonus eligible, not long-term incentive eligible.
