    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years in an administrative role with a professional organization. Construction industry experience is a plus.
    • High school diploma. College experience and/or degree preferred.
    • Computer literacy is a must, including experience with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Hyphen BRIX and Build Pro experience is a plus. Willingness and ability to learn new software systems utilized by RockWell Homes.
    • Thoughtful, well-organized and proactive planning skills.
    • Strong communications and organizational skills.
    • Must possess a commitment to punctuality. This is an in-person office position within a professional working environment. Working hours are typically 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • We are in Dallas, TX.
    • Fluency in Spanish a plus.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist with administrative and coordination requirements across all departments including executive, warranty, purchasing, permitting, construction, accounts payable, sales, marketing, etc.
    • Coordinating via telephone and email with customers, trade partners and fellow team members.
    • Data entry in multiple back-office software systems.
    • Create and update a warranty calendar within MS Outlook. Closely monitor the calendar and communicate appointments to necessary stakeholders.
    • Assist the Purchasing Manager with administrative tasks such as trade partner communications, data entry, digital filing, and purchasing systems updates.
    • Assist the Sales Team with contracts and closings coordination. This will include coordination with customers, lenders, title companies and fellow RockWell team members.
    • Assist with tasks related to marketing, model home maintenance, supply ordering and whatever else may be needed to help the department.

    QUALIFICATIONS: ****

    • · High School Diploma or be a high school junior or senior in an early Education/Child Development Career and Technical Program. If they are a junior or senior in an Early Education/Child Development Career and Technical Program, they will have a high school diploma and/or GED by the end of their apprenticeship.
    • · Have access to reliable, insured transportation.
    • · Must have or obtain and maintain CT child care first-aid, and infant and child CPR, and medication administration certification.
    • · Provide a TVCCA Staff Statement of Good Health statement signed by a physician, physician’s assistant, or nurse practitioner completed within twelve (12) months before the date of employment, and every twenty-four (24) months for current staff.
    • · Provide a written report of negative tuberculin test completed within twelve (12) months prior to the date of employment, or for a known prior reactor, no evidence of active tuberculosis on a chest x-ray.
    • · Must be able to lift and/or carry a child up to 50lbs.
    • · Be of legal working age
    • · Be able to work 35 hours/week, 52 weeks/year.
    • · The TVCCA Little Learners Early Education Program requires staff to be available from 7:00AM – 5:00PM to cover center operational hours.
