    We're looking for a conscientious office assistant to provide administrative support for our law firm. You’ll be responsible for handling mailings that need to be sent out by attorneys and paralegals, as well as opening mail and ensuring it is brought to the attention of the attorney or paralegal on the case. Responsibilities: Incoming Mail:Receiving and Sorting: • Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail and packages by department and/or employee. • Scanning and Logging: • Responsible for scanning and logging incoming mail into the firm's legal case management system. Outgoing Mail:Preparing for Shipment: Preparing documents and packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging. • Arranging Pickups: Arrange for pickups from the postal service and other delivery vendors. • Record Keeping: Maintain records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized • Customer service experience within the legal industry is preferred • Technologically savvy; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues • Excellent written, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
