Administrative Assistant – Vision Therapy & Optometry Office (Full-Time)
Austin, TX (Westlake Area)
Join a Team That Transforms Lives Through Vision
At The Center for Vision Development, we’re not your typical healthcare practice—and this is not your typical administrative role.
We are the longest-established vision therapy practice in Austin, founded in 2004, and we are passionate about helping children and adults reach their full potential through vision care. We work with patients of all ages, including individuals with autism, learning-related vision challenges, and brain injuries.
We are a close-knit, high-performing team that values positivity, professionalism, teamwork, and genuine connection with people. We work hard, support each other, celebrate milestones and successes together, and strive to provide an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
If you are organized, detail-oriented, people-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your work truly matters, we would love to meet you.

Who You Are
Experience in a medical office, administrative assistant role, reception, or strong customer service environment is highly valued, but we care just as much about who you are as a person.
You are someone who naturally connects well with people and communicates warmly and professionally. You enjoy helping others, stay calm under pressure, and take pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly.
You are:
Highly organized and detail-oriented
A quick learner who takes initiative and ownership of your role
Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
Professional in both verbal and written communication
Able to multitask and stay efficient in a fast-paced environment
Solution-oriented and adaptable when priorities shift
Compassionate and patient-centered
Interested in long-term growth with a supportive, high-performing team
Knowledge of optometry, vision therapy, or Crystal PM EMR is a plus, but not required. We provide training and are looking for someone eager to learn and grow with us.
