  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Administrative Assistant will be point person for office logistics in the Working Title US office based on the Universal Lot. Additionally, this person will also serve as Assistant in the Feature department, supporting the Director of Development and UK-based executives when they travel to the Los Angeles Office.

    Duties will include but are not limited to the below:

    Executive and Office Support:

    • Provide general administrative support to the US based executives including managing complex schedules and scheduling meetings across various time zones and submitting expense reports in a timely fashion
    • Manage travel itineraries for various executives and talent
    • Ensure that the executives in the US office are prepared for meetings that occur
    • Coordinate with UK-based counterpart to provide support to the UK-based executives when they travel to the Los Angeles office
    • Responsible for greeting guests as they visit the Working Title US location
    • Act as the first point of contact for Working Title on calls for the development department
    • Taking minutes in internal departmental meetings and ensuring that any tasks that arise are
    • being properly actioned and followed-up
    • Act as the point of contact with the Universal lot to manage office logistics and operations
    • Organize the weekly grocery run for the office

    Submissions & Creative Materials

    • Work with the development team to manage and update the submissions log
    • Organize materials to ensure that the development executives are able to access the latest versions
    • Cover material and write coverage, including writing synopses when assigned

    General/Creative:

    • When assigned, cover screenings/events and report back in a timely fashion to
    • highlighting any recent film, tv, theater news/reviews/general information that might be of interest and relevance to the wider Film and TV departments
    • Perform research for current and potential film and TV projects and market research

    Basic Requirements

    • Minimum 1.5 years of experience as an assistant

    Desired Characteristics

    • An individual who thrives in a busy and varied creative environment
    • Previous experience at an agency or a buyer a plus
    • Demonstrated knowledge of established and emerging talent in the Film & TV industry
    • Strong organizational skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to demonstrate confidentiality and discretion

    Additional Requirements:

    • Required On-Site : This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

    Salary range: $58,000 - $62,000.
