Germer Beaman & Brown PLLC seeks a motivated, detail-oriented individual to work in the medical malpractice/personal injury group within our firm. Some experience in an administrative role is preferred. An ideal candidate will have worked in a law firm for at least 6 months and have a general sense of the litigation process. This position would be a great fit for someone who is interested in the legal process and who is computer savvy. The candidate who fills this position should be a self-starter and needs to have a strong work ethic. This position would be ideal for an individual who is at the beginning of their legal career and would like to gain experience in litigation.

The position will be supervised by one of the firm’s partners as well as a senior legal administrative assistant, both of whom each have more than 30 years’ experience in the legal field. You will also be working with paralegals with years of experience whose guidance would be an asset for anyone looking to build a strong foundation in the legal field. This position requires high computer literacy, including a strong proficiency for Microsoft Word and Excel, and strong organizational and document management skills.

Please note that this is an in-person full-time position during normal business hours, and reliable transportation is required. Overtime may be requested during occasional trial preparation instances (with notice).

The administrative clerk is a unique role in the litigation process because they see to the day-to-day needs of the legal team while also providing integral support when cases go to trial. An administrative clerk position is a great position for someone who is considering becoming a paralegal because they support paralegals daily.
