    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to a department or division. This role is responsible for coordinating clerical functions, supporting financial and procurement processes, and ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations.

    The Administrative Coordinator will manage scheduling, communications, reporting, and system coordination while serving as a key point of contact for internal teams and the public. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in administrative support, office management, or customer service roles
    • Experience coordinating schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements
    • Experience preparing reports, correspondence, presentations, and documentation
    • Experience supporting accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, or procurement processes
    • Experience working with databases, payroll systems, or work order systems
    • Ability to coordinate multiple administrative functions across a department
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
    • Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and detailed administrative reports

    Experience Preferences

    • Experience working in government or public sector environments
    • Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor coordination, and budget tracking
    • Experience supporting multiple teams or departments
    • Prior experience leading or supervising administrative staff

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
    • Ability to perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and reaching
    • Ability to work in both office and occasional field environments

    Education Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    Education Preferences

    • Some college coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
