Tallgrass Title seeks a customer-focused, positive, friendly, and professional Receptionist to join our team in our Manhattan branch. Daily responsibilities include answering and triaging phone calls, scheduling closings and appointments, issuing receipts to clients who deliver funds and documents to our office, and completing local company errands. Additional responsibilities may include assisting our title agents with new order processing, document preparation, mailings, and providing notary and courier services. Reliable transportation is a must. A successful candidate will be a motivated team player who is passionate about customer service, demonstrates initiative and attention to detail, and has a proven capacity to multitask. This is an entry-level position with significant opportunity for growth. Experience with administrative and customer service is ideal. Familiarity with the real estate and/or legal industry is a plus, but not a requirement. Regardless of experience, we are always willing to train and grow the right candidate. Responsibilities: • Inform team members regularly about the status of projects and any setbacks or achievements • Improve skill sets through employee development programs • Answer phone calls and emails to act as a liaison between clients and staff members to improve customer retention and referral rates • Buy materials for the office when necessary • Function as the face of our Manhattan office by greeting and assisting clients • Assist the Manhattan closing team with end processing and daily errands • Assist with deed packet signings and other notarial services • Other administrative and bookkeeping tasks as assigned Qualifications: • Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues • Display excellent written, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills • High school diploma or GED required • History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized • Reliable transportation • Available full-time 8-5 Monday-Friday with lunch break Compensation: $26,500
