    We're searching for an office assistant who will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by handling tasks ranging from essential day-to-day duties to contributing to significant projects. The ideal candidate will take initiative, be personable, organized, articulate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential. You’ll be interacting with team members and clients, responding and completing tasks in a friendly and timely manner, implementing office standards to streamline our processes (both electronic and paper), telephone and email communication, scheduling appointments, general office maintenance, and company events. Applicants should be extremely thorough, possess excellent communication skills, and have some background in customer service. Come be a part of our team! Responsibilities: • Document Management : Prepare, edit, and organize legal documents, client files, and correspondence with close attention to detail in paper and electronic filing systems. Management also includes processing signed documents, overseeing conversion to electronic format, and coordinating their appropriate delivery. • Office Organization : Maintain a clean and organized workspace in all public areas, including monitoring office supplies, coordinating maintenance requests, and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff. • Client Interaction : Answer phones professionally, responsibly, and direct callers to appropriate personnel. Greet clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor. Address inquiries, schedule appointments, and ensure excellent customer service. • Task Management : Assist with both routine duties (e.g., filing, copying, and data entry) and more complex projects, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed accurately. • Collaboration : Work closely with all team members as needed to provide support on cases and administrative initiatives. • Event Coordination : Assist in organizing firm events, client meetings, and internal team-building activities. Qualifications: • Some post-high school study, such as an associate degree or bachelor’s degree, is preferred. • Previous office or administrative assistant experience in a professional environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat. • Handle multiple tasks and priorities with efficiency and adaptability, ensuring no detail is overlooked. • Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize. Compensation: $37,000 + yearly
