Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Administrative Research & Investigative Assistant to join our team. Selective Investigations, Inc. is a private investigative agency specializing in insurance claims investigations. The Administrative Research & Investigative Assistant is responsible for logging in surveillance case assignments and conducting background research on each Subject prior to assigning to a surveillance investigator. No experience is necessary, on the job training. .Applicants with a criminal justice degree, investigative experience, research, data entry experience, or paralegal work is a plus.
Responsibilities
Log in case assignments
Conduct desktop investigations (backgrounds, locates, social media) in preparation of case assignment to surveillance investigators
Research public records
Research & analyze commercial databases
Research county & federal court records
Research social media profiles
Compile written summaries of findings
Miscellaneous administrative tasks to include limited routing of incoming phone calls
Skills

Strong computer and internet skills
Proficiency of Microsoft Word & Outlook
