    Administrative Services Cooperative which houses the RideYellow brand and our accompanying fleets in the Los Angeles area make up the largest taxi service on the west coast. As a result, our company is uniquely positioned to provide innovative transportation solutions to diverse businesses across Los Angeles. We are seeking a driven and strategic salesperson who is excited to apply the latest in sales principles to help grow our ride-hailing business across a diversity of business sectors and booking options.

    SUMMARY

    This is a new role in an expansion transportation market. You will be partnered with our operations team in Gardena and work closely with our stakeholders and consumers in Los Angeles County.

    We are looking for a driven self-motivated full-time salesperson. You'll bring your can-do attitude and energy, and we will bring our multi-fleet product to capture more market share in the rideshare, public and private transit, event, and travel industries.

    Fulfilling this role will mean you will take charge of the RideYellow end-to-end sales and customer service experience across Los Angeles County with a special focus on ridesharing at LAX. Initially you will be 80% focused on promoting the Trip Code at LAX, inside the LAX-It lot, where passengers load into our rideshare fleets. Promotion will be to both passengers and drivers. 20% will be focused on looking for the next sales opportunity.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.

    • Maintain expert-level knowledge of our product line as well as production process to inform potential clients
    • Build out sales team / brand ambassadors, sales reps
    • Work with operations team and brand ambassadors to ensure promotions and marketing materials are properly allocated and activated in the trade.
    • Schedule and participate in on-site pop-up events/PADs at retail locations
    • Manage pre-existing accounts and prospect new accounts by using online tools, internal data provided by sales leadership, existing contacts and your own creative methods
    • Excel in hands-on vendor management and training of new RideYellow features or products
    • Proactively maintain communication channels with prospects via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
    • Prepare a go-to market plan and sales strategy; prospect potential clients and conduct detailed follow-ups to close deals
    • Implement and launch RideYellow with clients and ensure strong and consistent ridership
    • Hit quarterly and annual revenue targets (quota carrying role)
    • Plan and execute sales strategy and provide consistent and accurate forward-looking analysis
    • Maintain the customer relationship and grow the business
    • Work with customers (new and prospective) to pilot new feature roll outs
    • Work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to advance sales opportunities
    • Develop long-term relationships with key in-region partners
    • Draft and deliver proposals
    • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
    • Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
    • Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
    • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions and report on sales activity
    • Set monthly new account targets for opening new accounts.
    • Prepare monthly progress reports for Management and Board of Directors on sales performance.
    • Manage and develop a CRM

    WRITTEN AND/OR COMMUNICATION SKILLS

    Requires excellent communication and written skills. Strong public speaking and negotiation ability. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Proven ability to cultivate positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    The employee is frequently required to drive to client locations to establish and cultivate relationships as well as doing deliveries. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.     

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    Tech savvy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet, and Google Applications.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong foundation in tools and methods for analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.  

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university. 2+ years in a full sales cycle role: prospecting, pitching & closing in a technology environment. 1+ years of business-to-business sales experience. Experience in the Mid-Market space focusing on prospecting and closing. Selling into various verticals. Solution selling

    TRANSPORTATION

    Must have reliable transportation.

    The work environment is fast paced and synergized and requires an entrepreneurial self-starter who knows how to continually prioritize and get things done in a timely manner. The ideal candidate understands that sales doesn’t always fit in a 9 to 5 Monday through Friday box. The noise level is usually moderate.
