    Growing estate planning, trusts and estates & elder law firm seeks experienced Admin & Billing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have administrative and legal billing experience in a midsized law firm.

    Billing Assistant Responsibilities:

    Process invoices, credits, and adjustments in a timely and accurate manner

    Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

    Resolve billing issues and discrepancies with customers and vendors

    Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment status

    Prepare and distribute monthly billing reports

    Maintain accurate records and files of all billing transactions

    Assist with other accounting and finance related tasks as needed

    Administrative Responsibilities:

    Scheduling, communication, and document handling, requiring strong organizational, detail-oriented, and technical skills. Handle client intake and general office duties (phones, mail, supplies). Maintain organized case files and client records.

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework in accounting or finance preferred

    Prior experience in billing and/or accounts receivable/payable

    Proficient in Juris and Microsoft Excel

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
