    Administrative / Financial Services Assistant

    We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in office administration for accounting & financial services.

    The Administrative / Financial Services Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Ethos CPA team and Financial Advisor(s) in providing high-quality administrative, compliance, and client service support. This role combines support for both the accounting and financial areas that Ethos CPA provides for our clients. We are looking for a person who will work well in a team environment and have an openness to learn and grow in their accounting and financial knowledge, as well as their customer service skills.

    Position & Benefits:

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    · First point of contact for clients via phone and in person. Handling inquiries and questions, providing basic information to clients and directing their requests to Accountants

    · Manage phone calls, eMails and in person requests

    · Process client payments, mailings, ShareFile information and documents with detail, organization, and consistency.

    · Team Focused to assist office in all capacities

    · Gather sensitive client information, open & maintain client accounts utilizing office-specific software, ensure paperwork & documentation is accurate and compliant with firm and industry regulations.

    · Prepare letters, forms, reports, and spreadsheets to support Financial Advisor activities

    · Utilize office software to maintain client records, documents, instructions, and interactions.

    · Assist with marketing efforts, coordinate and oversee client events, support business and client growth

    · Develop relationships with multiple clients

    Skills:

    · Effective and direct communication skills to interact with team members & clients

    · Strong knowledge & understanding of accounting & financial verbage

    · Highly organized and methodized in workflow, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, as well as ability to learn new software

    · Ability to prioritize and adjust as unexpected clients’ needs arise, as well as be an exceptional at multi-tasking

    · Works well in a team environment, as well as independently completing assigned tasks on time

    · High integrity and discretion are imperative

    · Willingness to ask for help & ability to apply constructive feedback

    Requirements:

    · Relevant experience in accounting &/or financial areas that can be utilized to build skills

    · Must be able to pass a background check, as well as fingerprinting
