    Administrator / Book Keeping for a Freight Company - Entry Level

    This entry level position is primarily responsible for assisting in the truckload department answering and making calls to and from carriers, determining what is required for that particular lane of freight. Assist the shipping process within the truckload area.

    Responsibilities: · Responsible for tracking freight shipments, data entry, basic accounting practices and problem solving for our clients.

    · Check on statuses of loads regarding pickup and delivery date and time

    · Contact customers for collecting on receivable

    · Contacting carriers for payables

    · Maintain our Gross Profit spreadsheet for salespeople

    · Maintain accurate records of all customer and carrier interactions.

    · Maintain the highest level of profitability, carrier satisfaction and support

    · Communicate with internal sales people regarding all aspects of the supply chain process.

    · Participate in the quarterly review process by providing meaningful feedback, information and metrics.

    · Develop and maintains solid carrier relationships, work with carriers as needed to improve client service

    · Answering phones daily and routing calls appropriately

    · Act as a leader, providing direction and support to other employees
