Job Summary:
Minnesota Security and Admit One Home Systems is seeking a Security Technician who works with other installers and independently in the completion of installs and service calls on custom security systems in both existing homes and new construction. These custom security systems include alarm systems (DSC & Qualsys), CCTV, card access and Alarm.com. They are responsible for communication with homeowners, builders and other trades in the industry and for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork that is assigned. Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Complete single and multi-room alarm installs and setup
Advanced troubleshooting of simple systems
Basic understanding of security system programming and design
Low voltage cabling (security wire, RG6 coax, Cat5/6, telephone wiring)
Educate and train end users / demos
Completion of Alarm.com Academy (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
Completion of ProSource University within the first year of employment
Minimum Job Requirements:
Experience with low voltage cabling, terminating and computer networking
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
Ability to work on rotating “on-call” service schedule
Proficient in all assistant level qualifications
Competent skills with desktop and mobile computing
Valid drivers license
Clean driving record and background check
Minimum of 1-year field experience
