ABOUT THE ROLE:
Adore Me Services is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our growing team in Secaucus, NJ. The Software Developer will support all aspects of our warehouse systems and development of future capabilities. It will involve working in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment; and will have high visibility within the organization. This position is located at our new distribution center in Secaucus, NJ.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Development and improvement of highjump, the new WMS (warehouse management system); manage functionality and configuration of the system using SQL.
Develop front-end for new functions and dashboards
Work with other IT teams on integrating WMS with other enterprise products
Configure, develop, debug, and troubleshoot solutions per design documents.
Development of the systems additional features (e.g. international shipping)
WHAT SKILLS DO YOU HAVE?
BA/BS Degree in computer science, technical engineering, or related.
2-3 years of experience in application development or technical support.
Experience with a modern programming language (E.g. Java, Python, C Sharp)
Advanced SQL Skills
Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
Strong, analytical and problem solving skills.
Reporting experience a plus.
Supply chain and distribution industry knowledge and experience.
