Job Description

AWM SMART SHELF is reinventing retail and looking for smart, talented people to work on building exciting applications. The initial focus of this position is working on AWM Frictionless which is a cashierless-shopping solution for shoppers to be able to grab what they want from a store and simply walk out.

JOB SUMMARY

·        Install video displays, shelf level sensors, cameras, and servers.

·        Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.

·        Diagnose problems and come up with solutions quickly while on-site.

·        Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

·        Perform maintenance and provide customer support.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / QUALITIES

·        Technical degree or certification (preferred)

·        Proven work experience as an installation technician.

·        Technical know-how regarding video displays, cameras, servers, and general hardware

·        Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment.

·        Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.

·        Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces.

·        Must feel comfortable using power tools.

·        Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

·        Must have a desire to travel overnights throughout the world (75% travel).

·        Ability to communicate effectively and professionally internally and externally with customers.

·        Driver's license and reliable transportation
