Location: Kinston, NC Schedule: Full-time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) Pay Range: $20 - $22 per hour Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Organization: Neuse Enterprises Inc.

Through our Adult Developmental Vocational (ADV) Program, we provide person-centered vocational training and support that help participants build confidence, develop new skills, and thrive in their communities.
Position Summary
We’re seeking a compassionate, organized, and dynamic Adult Developmental Vocational (ADV) Program Coordinator to lead daily operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality services within our ADV Program. This role combines program administration, staff supervision, and direct participant support to ensure individuals receive meaningful vocational opportunities that align with their goals and abilities.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily operations of the ADV Program, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with all regulations.
Supervise and support program staff, including Job Coaches, Vocational Instructors, and Direct Support Professionals.
Develop individualized support and vocational plans tailored to participant needs and strengths.
Facilitate community-based work experiences and skill-building activities.
Monitor participant progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
Collaborate with families, guardians, care managers, and employers to promote successful outcomes.
Participate in quality assurance efforts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a small caseload and provide direct support as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years working with adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities — vocational or day program experience preferred.
Leadership: Prior supervisory or program coordination experience a plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of person-centered planning and vocational habilitation.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
