  • Responsibilities

    PROVIDE TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL HR SERVICES TO MULTIPLE CLIENTS IN MULTIPLE STATES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Understanding and application of the principals and practices of FLSA, ADAAA, FMLA, ADEA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and all laws related to employment including local and state law
    • Support of Manager Access through Web Portal
    • Navigation of HCM system including knowledge of where all canned reports reside, how to access information related to the client master, employee master, employee benefits, employee pay data, web password reset, etc.
    • Employee survey production
    • Creation and conduct of training classes
    • Presentation of HR portion of all employee orientations including, but not limited to, overview of portions of the handbooks, review of access to web portals (employee and manager), training of managers and employees to access and utilize time keeping systems that are provided through the company
    • Creation of client service plan for each assigned client, execution and continual update and documentation of plan.
    • Execution of exit interview process for clients
    • Training of clients on exactly how to properly complete an I9 form and use of i9 systems
    • Management of leaves of absence for all clients unless managed by FMLA department
    • Analysis of application of the American's with Disabilities Leave Act Amendments Act to specific situations
    • Analysis of payment of wages upon termination based on applicable federal and state law
    • Implementation of new clients
    • Compensation analysis
    • Salary program analysis
    • Performance management options and analysis
    • Follow up on missing I9s with clients and employees
    • Handbook analysis, update, publishing, distribution and distribution verification
    • Analysis of the FLSA classification
    • Analysis of client positions to help them determine what is the appropriate FLSA classification for each position
    • Audit of employment related postings for each client location, ordering and ensuring posting of all required documents
    • Set up and management of background check process for clients using AdvanStaff for such checks
    • Working knowledge of the DOL and EEOC websites
    • Proactively act to help educate clients on state specific employment related laws they will need to comply with as they enter new state and local jurisdictions
    • Able to perform front desk responsibilities as needed
    • Able to navigate clients through designated systems, product offerings, and services
    • Able to communicate professionally with clients in person, via phone, and email
    • Manage projects from start to completion
