    Job Summary

    East Florida Premium Medical Care, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our clinical team. The APRN will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population in an outpatient clinical setting. This role involves evaluating patients with a wide range of medical conditions, conducting physical assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, establishing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating referrals to specialists when appropriate.

    The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic patient caseload while maintaining high standards of care and documentation. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.

    Responsibilities

    Provide comprehensive primary care services including patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.

    Conduct physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories to assess medical conditions.

    Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory studies and imaging as clinically indicated.

    Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.

    Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers when necessary.

    Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

    Manage an appropriate patient caseload while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

    Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to address complex or challenging cases.

    Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and professional development activities to remain current with evolving clinical guidelines.

    Qualifications

    Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Florida.

    Certification from an accredited national certifying body (e.g., AANP or ANCC) as a Nurse Practitioner.

    Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

    Active DEA registration and prescriptive authority as required by Florida law.

    Experience in a primary care or outpatient clinical setting preferred.

    Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills.

    Ability to maintain attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
