    Part time Accounts Receivable Clerk 1

    Onsite role – Memphis – in the office daily.

    Contract assignment – 3 months to start with possible extension. Temp to Hire Likely

    · $19 - $20.50 hourly – 20 – 25 hours expected weekly.

    · Monday through Friday 8am to Noon or 1pm

    · All roles require background check and drug screen (No THC is tested during pre employment screenings)

    · Must be eligible to work in the US

    · If you convert to Perm Placement – It will then be a 40 hour work week.


    This will be opening incoming checks that come to this location and sorting by branch number and preparing for processing.


    Summary:

    The main function of an accounts receivable clerk is to compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. A typical accounts receivable clerk is responsible for a wide range of technology and can work in areas closely related to computers.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.

    • Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures.

    • Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.

    Skills:

    • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.

    • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

    • Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.

    • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in accounting or related financial discipline preferred.

    • 0-2 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
