Job Description

Advance Testing Company, an established New York-based construction materials testing and inspection firm, has part time opportunities available for couriers/runners/delivery drivers. Couriers may be assigned for transport to project sites or business locations throughout our area of coverage, which includes, but is not restricted to the tri-state area (NY / NJ / CT) and New England. Typical project site types that couriers may be assigned to include highways, bridges, commercial buildings, airports, tunnels, fabrication plants, material production facilities, government and military sites, and schools.

Candidates must have a valid drivers license and their own vehicle. Physical requirements of the job include lifting up to 50 pounds and walking long distances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned as well)

• Picking up and delivering material to and from construction sites and laboratory locations
• Logging in material and maintaining a chain of custody

Requirements include the following:

• Clean/Valid Drivers License
• Personal Vehicle
• Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout each shift
• Ability to walk around jobsites, locate samples, and carry materials back to vehicle for transport.
• Applicants must be able to obtain any security clearances and background confirmation required by clients for sensitive projects and locations.
