Advanced Business Computers of America (ABCoA, Inc.) is a cutting-edge software development company specializing in end-to-end enterprise software for the subprime automotive and finance industry. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems. You’ll help automate and streamline our operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments. Responsibilities:

• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to demonstrate autonomous decision-making and discretion in matters of significance.
• Implement integrations requested by customers.
• Deploy updates and fixes.
• Provide Level 3 technical support.
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Develop scripts to automate processes.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 7-10 years’experience in an IT role.
• Experience with networking and web standards such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, web security, Active Directory, proxies, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience planning and deploying products like MySQL and MS SQL.
• Expert knowledge of cloud computing including virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems and content delivery networks.
• Strong background in MS Server 2012/2012R2 and Linux/Unix Administration.
• Experience with automation/configuration management.
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required).
• Strong experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Amazon EC2, Azure).
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong team-oriented values, analytical and critical thinking skills.
