Gastroenterology Hospitalist – Advanced ERCP

A large regional health system in Augusta, Georgia is seeking Gastroenterology Hospitalists with advanced ERCP experience to join a highly collaborative inpatient GI team.

This position offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule, strong procedural volume, and excellent hospital support in a physician-led environment.

Position Highlights

• 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM)
• No overnight call
• Inpatient GI hospitalist model
• APP support for inpatient rounding
• Advanced ERCP required
• Mix of consults and procedures
• Dedicated procedural block time
• Epic EMR
• J-1 waiver available

Clinical Practice

Physicians manage a steady inpatient consult service while performing endoscopic procedures with full hospital support.

Typical workload includes:

• 5–8 inpatient consults per day 
• 3-5 Colonoscopies

• 1-2 advanced GI procedures

Compensation & Benefits

• $650,000 – $750,000 base compensation
