    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY

    An Inside Customer Account Representative is the primary customer advocate who engages and builds relationships with customers by providing feedback to inquiries by utilizing their strong organizational and process skills. Provides oversight of pricing, lead-times and contractual requirements of quotes and orders. Performs work with limited direct supervision and plays a critical role in providing an interface between Customer and Company and handles themselves in a friendly and professional manner.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage customer requests for quotes, new orders, change orders, customer portals, as well as providing order acknowledgement and ship schedules
    • Understand the customer and/or government contractual requirements for successful execution of the quote and/or order, as well as understanding export compliance, government ratings, special packaging, special requirements, and if necessary, special delivery requirements of the product
    • Responsible for logging customer complaints and following through on actions required to resolve the issue to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Utilize company website to determine and/or verify requested part numbers
    • Create quote by entering information into company business system, including customer requirements and special flowdowns
    • Upon receipt of purchase order/contract, conduct review to identify any gaps between quote/price agreements and customer purchase order. Highlight gaps or conflicts and work to resolve any issues identified with customer or affected departments prior to formal order acknowledgement
    • Verify purchase order/contract requirements are consistent with standard terms and conditions and/or specific customer contractual requirements, and special flowdowns referenced on the quote
    • Create sales order by entering acceptable purchase order into company business system including customer requirements and special flowdowns, making note of any open issues which require resolution prior to shipment of order
    • Interact with other departments (Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Control, Manufacturing, Quality, Shipping) to obtain feedback to ensure customer needs are met
    • Monitor performance of quotes and sales order from inception to closeout by reviewing status dashboards in the company business system
    • Log, monitor and maintain specific data elements associated with customer returns within the established process, ensuring information is both timely and accurately defined
    • Other duties or projects as assigned

    JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of experience related to handling customer accounts, including quote and order data entry, interpretation of customer and contractual requirements and coordination with internal cross-functional organizations in a manufacturing environment

    · 2 Years Associate Degree or Junior Technical College or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    · Strong organizational, time management, planning, and problem-solving skills

    · Ability to uncover and understand the needs of customers

    · Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

    · Must exhibit a high level of motivation and a sense of urgency

    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, with attention to detail, and follow up accordingly
    • Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines
    • Ability to work in fast paced, ever changing environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Previous Aerospace Industry work experience

    · Comprehensive understanding of ERP System

    · Experience with FAR and DFAR clauses

    · Experience with EAR and ITAR regulations
