Calling all Canvassers – Locals and Travelers

We’re looking for canvassers and team leaders for an upcoming election in Nevada.
This is a local, Vegas-based position. We’re also looking for traveling staff, too!
About Our Company
AMT (Advanced Micro Targeting) has worked on campaigns and petitions throughout the US for over two decades. We talk to voters about the issues they care about.
We sell BIG ideas! Ideas like electing leaders who actually listen to the voters who elect them.
Some staff stay for a project, others have worked here for 5 years or more!
If you like campaign work but hate the cyclical nature of campaigns, let’s talk! We work year-round throughout the United States. And all of our tight -knit leadership staff got their start working in the field.
About the Position
- We canvass specific voters 5-6 days a week (overtime available).
- We work in small teams of 3-4 people. We start early and usually work until the sun goes down.
- Our team studies the issues and candidates we support – EXTENSIVELY. We regularly conduct extended issue training.
- Our canvassers and team leaders write 1-2 sentence recaps of their conversations with voters.
- Writing skills are helpful, but good listening skills are essential.

- Energetic people who like working outdoors. We are outside, on our feet, for a full day. (You’ll DEFINITELY get your steps in!)

- Not rattled by a little rejection. Just because one voter doesn’t want to talk doesn’t mean the next one won’t.
- Flexible – things change often. We move our teams around and we go where the voters are.
- Team leaders (only) need a valid driver's license with a clean – squeaky clean – driving record.

18 or older with a valid government-issued ID.
Have a working cell phone with data plan.
Willingness to undergo a criminal background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
High-energy – we work outside on our feet for a full day. This is DEFINITELY not a desk job!
Detail-oriented – petitions are legal documents.
Petitioning or campaign experience is a plus but not required. We will train the right candidate!
Team Leaders and Project Managers need a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
