    About the Role

    This Advanced Nurse Practitioner opportunity supports complex perioperative patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role offers a high level of clinical autonomy while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team. This position is ideal for an APRN who thrives in a fast-paced, acute care environment and enjoys practicing at the top of their license.

    The Position

    The Advanced Nurse Practitioner functions independently to assess, diagnose, and manage acute, critical, and chronically ill perioperative patients. The role includes participation in surgical care, patient education, and care coordination throughout the continuum of care.

    What You’ll Do

    1. Perform age-appropriate histories and physical examinations for complex perioperative patients
    2. Manage acute, critical, and chronic conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings
    3. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic tests
    4. Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment plans
    5. Implement interventions to restore or maintain physiologic stability
    6. Serve in a first assist role as appropriate
    7. Assist with surgical care in compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations
    8. Monitor patient response and effectiveness of treatments
    9. Facilitate patient transitions including admissions, transfers, and discharges
    10. Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and initiate appropriate referrals
    11. Provide education and decision-support tools for patients, families, and staff

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
    2. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
    3. Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
    4. Active BLS and ACLS certifications
    5. PALS certification as required by department or facility
    6. Strong computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
