    Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in Primary Care. This role involves performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and assisting in various medical procedures. The Advanced Practice Provider will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring a positive healthcare experience.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.

    Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions under the supervision of a physician.

    Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.

    Provide basic life support as needed during emergencies.

    Assist in public health initiatives and promote wellness among patients.

    Participate in hospice palliative medicine, ensuring compassionate care for patients with serious illnesses.

    Perform suturing and other minor surgical procedures as required.

    Provide care in pediatrics, addressing the unique needs of younger patients.

    Manage infectious disease care, ensuring appropriate treatment protocols are followed.

    Execute phlebotomy procedures for blood sampling and testing.

    Skills

    Proficient in maintaining medical records with attention to detail.

    Strong knowledge of basic life support techniques and protocols.

    Excellent skills in conducting thorough physical examinations and patient assessments.

    Understanding of public health principles and practices.

    Experience or training in hospice palliative medicine is advantageous.

    Ability to perform suturing with precision and care.

    Knowledge of pediatric care practices is preferred.

    Familiarity with infectious disease management protocols is beneficial.

    Competence in phlebotomy techniques for effective blood collection.

    Requirements License to practice medicine as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant DEA License CDS Certification ACLS Certification
