    Responsibilities:

    In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistance is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.

    The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).

    The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.

    Document services rendered.

    Job Qualifications:

    California NP or PA license required

    DEA

    Previous experience in neurology preferred

    Ability to build rapport with patients

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Strong leadership qualities

    Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
