The ideal candidate must have a Friendly and a Positive attitude, at least 5 years experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent written and communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow within our organization. Furthermore, this person must have excellent Quickbooks, Bookkeeping, Accounting and Microsoft Office skills.
This position is essential to the daily operation of our business, so we are seeking a professional who thrives in a dynamic work environment and can manage time effectively on a day to day basis.
Responsibilities:
Create and send out monthly invoices
Accurately record transactions in QuickBooks in accordance with GAAP standards
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Resolve issues in reconciliation (such as balances being off & missing or errant transactions)
Full scope of accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including direct communication with Vendors/Customers
Proper filing and storage of transactional backup (receipts, copies of bills, etc)
Preparing the books for hand off to our CPA for tax purposes
Assist in managing the principal's email correspondence and client interactions
Collaborate with and support a small team with project management
Order supplies and manage third party vendors
