  • Responsibilities

    Working with the VP of Sales, the incumbent will be responsible for creating and implementing training and development programs.  In connection with the commercial leadership team you will be responsible for content development and training delivery associated with new hire training, National and Area Sales Meetings. In addition, responsible for managing the day to day responsibilities of the Training Manager and Sales Training Coordinator and providing ongoing coaching and development.

    Required Skills

     

    • Active role in enhancing current and/or identifying new and innovative Sales Force effectiveness initiatives (i.e., competencies and skills)Responsible for the assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation of sales training related activities and events.  New Hire Curriculum and on-going training.
    • Ensure all training related activities are within authorized budgets
    • Lead on-boarding sales training related initiatives for all aspects of the home study and live training curriculum.
    • Update training materials as required in collaboration with cross functional leads. Ensure all relevant material is Medical, Legal and Regulatory (“MLR”) approved.
    • Develop multimedia training aids and presentations.
    • Create evaluation documents for training related events.
    • Oversee Learning Management System (LMS) related to commercial training courses
    • Build strong, productive cross-functional working relationships across the organization

    Required Experience

    • Bachelors degree required
    • Minimum of 7+ years of in-house or field training experience in the life sciences industry with understanding of instructional design and delivery preferred
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred
    • Overnight travel as required
    • May occasionally require weekend travel with business related activities
