    TRI POINTE GROUP IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED, ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN OUR TALENTED GROUP AS A LEGAL PROJECT COORDINATOR IN OUR HOME OFFICE LOCATED IN IRVINE, CA.

     

     

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: The Legal Project Coordinator is focused on (1) handling substantive corporate and litigation projects and (2) providing general administrative support to the Legal Department. This position will work closely with attorneys and other legal professionals, outside third parties (including vendors), and company employees to support the Legal Department’s objectives, including assisting with cross-departmental projects and providing related operational and administrative support. The successful candidate will be an individual who is motivated, organized, well spoken, personable, discreet and detail-oriented. 

     

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Under attorney supervision, handle a variety of substantive corporate and litigation projects that may require organizational skills, research, attention to detail, critical thinking, written work product, and clear/concise communication.
    • Draft/prepare Legal Department correspondence, including various memoranda and outside counsel engagement letters.
    • Research, prepare, review and file requisite applications, forms, registrations, permits and requests with vendors, contract counterparties, regulatory bodies and government agencies.
    • Manage department, constituent and vendor interactions with CSC, the Legal Department’s e-billing software.
    • Prepare various written materials for the Legal Department (including presentations, spreadsheets, reports, calendars and agendas) using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
    • Maintain document filing, contract management, and record retention systems (including the use of FileNet) according to company policies.
    • Various administrative responsibilities within the Legal Department, including organizing/scheduling meetings, arranging travel, expense reporting and tracking, calendar management, and event coordination.
    • Other duties as required and requested by Legal Department personnel.

     

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
    • A minimum of 1 year of related or equivalent experience required.
    • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint.
    • Knowledge of Concur, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Trip-It, FileNet and CSC applications preferred.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills required.
    • Can multi-task and be self-directed.

  • Qualifications

     QUALIFICATIONS:

    • EPA Certification
    • Previous experience with rack systems, single systems, walk-in units, and display cases
    • Advanced knowledge of commercial ice machines, HVAC, refrigeration, gas furnaces and electrical functions
    • Advanced understanding of EMS (CPC, COMTROL, NOVAR, DANFOSS) to perform maintenance and repairs
    • Advanced knowledge of the principles of supermarket psychometrics and its effect on refrigerated fixtures
    • Advanced understanding of refrigerant flow within system and advanced isolation techniques on all systems to perform maintenance and repairs ( This should include all equipment including receivers, condensers, and oil systems)
    • Advanced understanding of electricity, wiring, and control circuits (all equipment) to perform maintenance and repairs
    • Advanced knowledge of the principles of supermarket psychrometrics and its effect on refrigerated fixtures to properly troubleshoot ongoing issues
    • Advanced troubleshooting ability and mechanical skills
    • Ability to lift up to 40lbs and climb on rooftops
    • Be available to run night time, weekend, and holiday emergency service calls
    • Listen and comprehend written and oral instructions
    • Good communications skills and good driving record
    • Customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
    • Efficiently read, understand, and apply: blueprints, schematics, and flow charts during repair processes
    • Ability to follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
