As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team and ensure the seamless functioning of our IT infrastructure. Position Summary We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to manage and support our IT systems across two office locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: • Protect our business from cybersecurity threats by running regular security checks • Implement new technology, such as desktops and computer hardware, operating systems, software programs, and applications • Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything they need to work efficiently • Troubleshoot technological issues and solve problems quickly to ensure our business operations run smoothly • Ensure our computers are backed up so all files are saved in case the system crashes • Maintain technological equipment, including phones, printers, computers, operating systems, network systems, hardware etc. • Provide technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues promptly • Collaborate with external vendors for additional technical support when needed • Conduct regular updates and upgrades to ensure systems are current and secure • Educate employees on IT policies and best practices • Work closely with various departments to understand IT needs and implement solutions that enhance productivity • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on IT tools and systems • Manage an inventory of IT assets, tracking equipment and software licenses • Understand how to use workflow automation software such as Zapier Qualifications: • At least two years experience in a professional IT work environment • Has worked with a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux systems • Solid understanding of troubleshooting Internet connectivity, network systems, phone systems, and other technological equipment in the office • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills • Slack experience a Plus • Must be proficient in the Apple ecosystem or at least understand basic Apple products like phones and laptops Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
