POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a full time help desk technician. Candidates for this position should be able to communicate effectively and politely via phone, email, or in person to help users resolve technical issues. Positive personality, punctuality, and the ability to manage your time effectively will be crucial to your success.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Resolve customer technical support issues by phone, email - remotely and onsite
• Communicating with clients: notifying them of changes and agreed outages
• Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts
• IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems
• Support of disaster recovery solutions
• Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and security
• Basic remote access solutions implementation and support: VPN and terminal services

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years of hands on experience working in a processional environment with Windows 7,8 and 10, Windows 2008-2012 OS, application support Network such as DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, IPv4, NAT, VPN and firewalls Windows Active Directory, GPOs, etc.
• Must be able to pass hands on technical test as well as a background test and drug screening.
• Must have a reliable transportation to Mobile & Baldwin County.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision as you will occasionally go onsite.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dedication to continual development of technical skills.
