FULL-SERVICE MARKETING & ADVERTISING FIRM THAT IS LOOKING FOR A MARKETING ASSISTANT TO WORK WITH AND SUPPORT THE CREATIVE DESIGN TEAM, SOCIAL MEDIA, AND WEBSITE-RELATED TASKS. THE CANDIDATE IS CONFIDENT AND ABLE TO SUPPORT THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF WORDPRESS WEBSITES, AND ALSO ABLE TO SUPPORT DESIGNING BOTH PRINT AND DIGITAL MARKETING MATERIALS. CANDIDATES NEED A STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF WORKING WITH ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE. EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MARKETING OR ADVERTISING FIRM PREFERRED, WITH THE ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK AND MANAGE MULTIPLE CLIENTS.

DESCRIPTION

A successful candidate should understand how marketing campaigns work and have a desire to work in the marketing industry. This candidate must have high attention to detail, be self-motivated, have a desire to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. This position will communicate directly with our clients. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and understanding of marketing are very important.

The candidate will be responsible for designing & modifying websites from layout to function, according to a client's specifications. The candidate will also be responsible for the development of digital and print marketing materials, web content, branding, and supporting documents, as well as assisting our creative director and senior web developer.

We are willing to educate and provide training to candidates willing to learn and improve their skillset in areas with little to no experience.

QUALIFICATIONS IN EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

• At least 3 years of experience working for a marketing firm, agency, or as an independent contractor/freelancer that provides marketing and web services to multiple clients
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or Web, or 3+ years related experience
• Passion for web work, design, and marketing with a positive attitude backed by strong verbal communication skills with our team and clients.
• Basic Marketing and/or Advertising experience or education is necessary
• Experience with Social Media Marketing is a plus
• Design proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software; Applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Significant experience in responsive WordPress website design is not necessary, but a strong plus
• Experience with Microsoft Products such as; Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Be able to work with Internal CRM Systems and Project Tracking
• Work well with others in a small team environment
• Strong organizational, writing, proofreading, and presentation skills
• Be able to identify, support, and implement clients’ needs
• Working knowledge of a “strategic planning process” for business development
• This position requires having a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, a desire to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

WEB DEVELOPMENT RELATED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience building high-quality, interactive websites using a variety of web-based technologies.
• Significant experience in responsive WordPress website design is not necessary, but a strong plus
• Experience designing WordPress websites.
• Experience working with WordPress plugins and custom modification as needed.
• Experience working with hosting packages, e-mail configuration, C-Panel, and databases
• Experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, WordPress CMS and C-Panel
• Experience with DiviTheme templates
• Follow and recommend defined guidelines, best practices, and standards related to SEO, Security, and hosting.
• Experience building, implementing and monitoring Google AdWords campaigns for clients.
• Assist senior web developer in developing graphics and content for client websites

CREATIVE RELATED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and design print materials for brochures, postcards, web banners, advertisements, email blasts, websites, social channels, and signage.
• Design marketing materials with clear and consistent messaging to represent the client
• Write content and proofreading for projects
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Develop illustrations, logo, and other designs
• Work with the creative director to produce the final design
• Consult with clients’ marketing, copywriting, and sales teams to create cohesive designs that reflect our clients’ corporate cultures and goals
• Assist in the development of our clients' marketing strategy & overall plan assist in Social Media campaigns, website updates, marketing plans, and marketing reports
