Advantage Technology is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales pipeline by identifying and generating new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and strategic outreach. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of Advantage Technology as we continue to expand our presence in the technology solutions market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industries, and create targeted prospect lists.
- Engage in outbound activities including cold calling, emailing, and social outreach to initiate conversations with potential clients.
- Qualify leads by assessing their needs, challenges, and potential fit with Advantage Technology's solutions.
- Articulate the value proposition of Advantage Technology's offerings and effectively communicate how they can address the client's pain points.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine lead generation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and lead status in the CRM system.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to provide insights on lead quality and feedback from prospect interactions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and relevant technologies to enhance your understanding of client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in outbound lead generation, sales development, or related roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport over phone, email, and social channels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely follow-ups.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex technology solutions.
- Resilient and persistent with the ability to handle rejection and objection effectively.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed lead generation targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management tools.
- Knowledge of the technology industry and IT solutions is a plus.
