JOB DESCRIPTION + SPECIFICATIONS We are looking for a fun and upbeat educator that specializes in Math and Science. This includes the following areas of focus: Algebra 1 + 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology, Physics, + Chemistry. Applicants should be proficient and comfortable in these subjects. -Working towards Bachelor Degree is required -2+ years teaching experience (preferred) -Responsible for assisting students to understand concepts, lessons and skills to become proficient in the subject area -Looking for someone with strong organizational skills, patience, and enthusiasm for the subject -Must have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with students ranging from 5 years old - college SPECIFICATIONS -This position will begin August 1, but there will be part-time opportunities before then (if desired) -This is a 1099 Contract position -Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and expertise -Must be willing to work at least three evenings a week and some weekends -While much of the job will maintain a regular schedule, this job requires someone who is OK with flexibility to accommodate student/parent schedules -Must have own transportation and laptop INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY -Please submit a resume and cover letter. -Job Type: Part-Time or Full-time Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 /hour
