Great opportunity for a recent college graduate to join a well-established, stable and growing company. Our client is seeking a up and coming college graduate with 1 year of hands on experience working in a finance or accounting department. Will have the opportunity to work closely with the Controller and have the opportunity to learn and grow.

$50,000 to $54,000 plus benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE JUNIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

• Will be responsible for processing AP, including coding of invoices, vendor management and assisting with check runs
• Monthly journal entries
• Daily review and tracking of 20+ bank accounts
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain cash balance spreadsheets in Excel
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JUNIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of experience in a general accounting
• Strong Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot table functions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
