We are looking for caregivers that are interested in learning and growing their skills within the senior care industry. Our Companion Caregivers are not only reliable, dependable and honest, but also compassionate and caring.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in maintaining a healthful, safe environment.

Helping family members learn safe care techniques.

Establish good relationship with client along with providing emotional support.

Interact, communicate clearly and encourage activities with elderly.

Performing housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, linen changing etc.

Observe & report any changes with client immediately to supervisor.

Planning and preparing nutritious meals

Providing medication reminders

Accompany client to and from appointments and/or errands.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have one (1) year plus experience working with elderly in home care industry.

Preferably certified H.H.A, P.C.A., C.N.A

Demonstrates professionalism, Positive Attitude, and sincere interest with elderly clients.

Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.

Ability to interpret the client’s provided service plan.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.

Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats).

Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies.

Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!
