The successful candidate will be responsible for providing software support to clients for our Management Execution Software (MES) solution for the packaging and corrugated box industries. This candidate will support the full breadth of the software system modules, but REQUIRE EXPERTISE IN ACCOUNTING PRACTICES as those modules will be of focus to support.

This role will provide end user support for the software system and includes researching and testing of reported issues; replicating software defects; recording enhancement requests to software; offering assistance in answering 'how-to' questions; and capturing all interactions in our issue tracking system.

This candidate will also have hands-on software experience with off-the-shelf software products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, web browsers. and other common business software products. . This candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and logic skills as well as a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and help customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct end user support through a help-desk environment using phone and email communications.
• Document all customer interactions in our issue tracking system.
• Resolving customer reported issues that are not defects through research and internal testing.
• Testing reported issues on internal test environments.
• Replicating reported defects on internal test environments.
• Owning customer interactions and resolutions.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning of the product and industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting practices and procedures.
• Strong understanding of general business practices and procedures.
• Experience dealing with stakeholders of businesses.
• Experience with project management.
• Strong IT competence.
• Strong ability to work remotely and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in a customer facing role dealing with technologies.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Packaging / Corrugated Box / Folding Carton industry experience or education.
• MIS or ERP Knowledge or Experience.
