DIRECT HIRE | ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION | CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER |

Local KC firm is looking to add a CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER to their team due to growth and demand of their product/services. Would need to handle multiple construction projects in various stages, projects could be in the $100K - $3M+ range. (Company performs Design/Fabrication/Construction for pre-engineered/client specific structures)

This role is very client-facing and would be the main POC once handed off from sales/design/fabrication teams. Anticipate anywhere from $80-90K in annual salary (+ insurance, 401K, PTO/Vacation, Bonus potential), determined on experience/fit. (Direct Hire)

Overview

• Construction Management, from Fabrication site to Construction site to Completion
• Manage schedules, client requests, site requirements
• Coordinate all sub-contractor related projects (bidding, contract awards, scheduling, invoicing)
• Main POC with Clients, Manage all site related issues, provide guidance, trouble-shooting
• Experience with Estimating methods
• Ability to negotiate contract terms & conditions
• Make site visits as needed (expect about 20% travel)
• Ultimately responsible for overall success of projects

Desired

• 2/4 year degree in Construction Management/Technical Discipline, or equivalent experience
• PMP certification is desirable, not required
• Previous Project Management experience preferred, 3-5+ years
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to support and manage multiple projects (likely 10-20, various size and scope)
• Position is mostly in an office environment (not a fit for someone needing to be in the field regularly)
• Anticipate $80-90K range
