DIRECT | DRAFTER [KCMO]

\#jobalert | Seeking a Drafter for a locally based construction & engineering company (multiple offices nationwide).  This role involves designing and creating Solidworks part drawings and files for custom Architectural Metal projects.

• Anticipate $65-85K, dependent on experience

Key responsibilities include:

• Using CAD programs like Solidworks (especially Solidworks Sheet Metal), Revit, and AutoCAD, producing 2D drawings following standard construction drawing structural format
• Assisting with material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
• Collaborating with Project Management, Design Team, and engineers to define project scope design
• Managing assignments efficiently to meet deadlines consistently
• Ability to work in a team environment

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 10+ years of technical Architectural experience
• 5+ years of experience with SolidWorks, prefer sheet metal package experience
• Computer/Software Skills Required:
  • AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks files
  • MS Office suite
