    DIRECT | SALES TEAM LEADER [Kansas City, MO or north Houston, TX area]

    We have a new search for an energetic and proven sales professional to lead a team of Inside & Outside sales representatives.  Ideal sales background will come from industrial, construction, or engineering industries.  Proven experience with leading sales teams and executing initiatives. 

    Key Skills:  Sales, Sales Leadership, Sales Strategy, Industrial Sales, Construction Sales, Sales Management, Engineering Sales, Pre-Engineered, Built-to-Spec products

    • Sales Goal: $30 million annually.
    • Role: Managing a front-line sales team, encompassing both inside and outside sales.
    • Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 base, with a bonus potential.
    • Bonus: Up to 60% of salary, based on team performance, paid quarterly.

    This role offers a significant leadership opportunity within the company's sales department, with a focus on supporting and expanding the sales team's capabilities and reach. The position combines both strategic oversight and hands-on management in a rapidly evolving sales environment. 

    • Execution-focused, with strategy, targets, and initiatives mostly defined by the executive team
    • Managing a front-line sales team, encompassing both inside and outside sales.
    • Not responsible for direct sales quota
    • Support team in various aspects including:
      • Forecasting in SalesForce.
      • Territory planning and sales execution.
      • Account planning and execution.
      • Territory development.
      • New customer acquisition.
      • Channel development and expansion.
    • Leading and managing sales activities and performance monitoring
