    DIRECT | OFFICE MANAGER / BUSINESS SPECIALIST | KANSAS CITY

    We are a small, locally-owned, nationwide recruiting & staffing company seeking a dynamic Office Manager/Business Specialist to be a part of our great team.

    This person will be a key team member and will be supporting a small business environment with a wide-range of daily, weekly, and monthly items in support of day-to-day business and strategic growth initiatives (via marketing efforts).

    • Anticipate $60K (+/-) annually (dependent on experience)
    • Opportunity for commission based activities (marketing)

    Key Skills:  Strong Business Acumen, QuickBooks, AP/AR, Financial Reporting, Payroll/HR, Marketing, Communication, Tech Savvy

    Job Function:

    • Payroll/HR | supporting with payroll entries, document controls, and various HR compliance needs.
    • Account Payable/Account Receivables | supporting weekly client invoicing and AR collection.
    • Monthly Reconciliations | working with QuickBooks and external accounting firm
    • Banking |  helping with monthly reporting to leadership and external accounting firm
    • Insurance | tracking of commercial insurance, workers’ compensation claims, etc.
    • Business Operations | supporting biz ops as needed. Various administrative duties as needed to support the daily operations of a small business. State and government reporting requirements, unemployment, document controls, etc.
    • Marketing | ongoing support of growth initiatives by supporting with various ongoing marketing efforts. *added commission $$$ earnings are available.

    Requirements:

    • Experience supporting a small team with a wide range of ongoing job duties.
    • Must be a team player who likes to roll up their sleeves and be solutions orientated.
    • Flexible and open to learning and taking on responsibilities as needed within a small business environment.
    • Understanding that this is a utility role, and no two days are exactly the same.
